Rennes Le Chateau
Mystery is at the heart of creativity. That and surprise (Julia Cameron)
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science.” Einstein
I’ve always loved mysteries and puzzles. I love the journey a real mystery can inspire: Long before the Da Vinci Code, I became immersed in the Rennes Le Chateau (RLC) puzzle – anyone interested in Mary Magdalene and her significance should spend a month or twelve saturating themselves in this mystery.
Rather than outline the whole adventure of RLC here, I will direct you to some comprehensive sites that will whet your appetite. In future posts I will comment on some aspects of the story or pieces to the puzzle….
So here, for starters: http://www.rlcresearch.com/

Allready ahead of you! Found all this within weeks of Madeleine’s abduction. Painting at station 8 of stations of the cross? Child in a Scots tartan blanket! Tartan VERY similar to that entitled to be worn by the McCanns! Woman with the child, with what looks like a ‘Look for Madeleine’ wristband, (Only one in all the paintings with a bare arm.) Station ten, lower left corner, three dice. Top two are three and five, lower one four. Madeleine disapeared on the third of the fifth, aged four. Painting on front of altar, of Mary Magdelene. Top left, what looks like a ruin is, in close up, an initial M with a full stop, next to a figure one. Madeleine is the first born of Kate and Gerry. Latin inscription above the door, ‘This is a terrible place’ Could anyone be in a worse place than Kate and Gerry? Church dedicated to, in French, ‘Le church du Ste Marie MADELEINE!’ I could go on!
